The President of Belarus has sent a message of greetings to the participants of the Minsk International Book Exhibition and the symposium of writers

Being a unique event in the social, cultural and spiritual life of Belarus, the Minsk International Book Exhibition has a high international status and attracts the attention of thousands of people every year. It is noteworthy that the current forum is being held in the year of the 80^th anniversary of the Great Victory and many events and stands of the exhibition are dedicated to this event. They tell about the feats, heroic struggle and genocide of the Belarusian people, the Head of State noted. "I am convinced that traditional meetings of writers and book lovers open new horizons for humanitarian cooperation, rapprochement of countries and peoples", said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
