Belarus would like to develop advanced, meaningful partnerships with Algeria. It was stated by the Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko during a meeting with Speaker of the National People's Assembly of the Algerian parliament Ibrahim Boughali. Welcoming the foreign guest on Belarusian soil, the president voiced his hope that the visit would be productive from a professional perspective. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Belarus already has partner countries in North, Central, and South Africa, and their assistance is expected to help deepen cooperation across the entire African region.
