A meeting of the Security Council of Belarus was held at the Palace of Independence. The global situation dictates its own conditions: the potential for conflict is growing in various regions. Close neighbors and Western European countries in general are no exception. They openly pursue their geopolitical interests through force. Military activity is growing, and NATO's presence near Belarus's borders is expanding. The Head of State also assessed Lithuania's actions regarding the situation at the border. According to the Head of State, all issues can only be resolved at the negotiating table. Minsk is prepared to do so through bilateral contacts. Following the meeting, the President approved the country's defense plan for 2026-2030.
