The President heard a report from the Minister of Defense

The President received a report from the Minister of Defense of Belarus. Viktor Khrenin briefed the President on the state of affairs in the Armed Forces. One of the topics concerned the deployment of the Oreshnik missile system in Belarus and its deployment to combat duty. The development of domestic missile production was also on the agenda. The President was briefed on the recent launches of the modernized domestic Polonez MLRS, which has an increased range and improved accuracy. The successful modernization of the Buk air defense missile system was noted. Viktor Khrenin reported on plans to supply the troops with these systems.
