Aleksandr Lukashenko heard a report from Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuri Gorlov. The two main topics in the Head of State's report concerned the start of spring fieldwork and the sowing campaign, as well as the export of domestic food products. Plans for sowing other crops were also discussed. Corn is a particular priority this season. Aleksandr Lukashenko reiterated the previously set goal for farmers to ensure a gross grain harvest no lower than last year's level. Regarding food exports, positive trends were reported, with growth toward 2025 levels noted. Active efforts are underway to expand the geography of exports. Belarusian food products are currently exported to 117 countries worldwide.
