The President gave specific instructions on moving towards full normalization of relations with the United States
This was discussed during a report to the Head of State by Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov, who took part in the meeting of the Belarusian leader with the American delegation led by U.S. Presidential Envoy John Coale. The Permanent Representative of Belarus to the United Nations noted that the American side had taken the first step in this direction, and it had decided to lift sanctions against Belavia. "This is a small part of what we still have to solve in the near future. But this step is important, it shows everyone, first of all our neighbors, the European Union that we just need to talk, we need to have a dialogue. It is necessary to try to solve the accumulated issues. So that these decisions are acceptable to all parties", said Valentin Rybakov.
