The President discussed the work of the Council of the Republic

The Head of State held a meeting with Speaker of the Upper House of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova. Parliamentarians actively help citizens, work with appeals. Therefore, the President was interested in what worries people today. They also discussed the prospects of the Council of the Republic. Among the topics discussed was the activities of the Expert Council under the Upper House of Parliament. It has been operating for over a year. It was created on behalf of the Head of State in order to monitor the viability of draft legislative acts on the most important issues.
