The President addressed the Belarusians

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has called the general election victory a new historic chance for him and his supporters to do more for the good of their native Belarus. Belarusians have chosen their independence by a majority of votes and have shown the whole world the maturity of the Belarusian nation, the triumph of our unity. Tradition, diligence, technology — this is how Aleksandr Lukashenko outlined the general directions of the country's development. The President promises to preserve the socially oriented economic model, to continue the relentless fight against bureaucracy and corruption. The government and the people have enough experience to withstand any winds of history, the Head of State emphasised.
