This direction provides a quarter of the total meat production in the country, while in recent years it has obviously stalled. This was the reason for the discussion of the issue at the highest level. The figures are not encouraging. In two years, pig breeding dropped by 10%, the death rate increased in half of districts. As a result, the number of unprofitable organizations increased. The relevance of the animal husbandry topic is growing. The current conversation is the first step toward a comprehensive assessment of the industry, which will be given in the near future during the national seminar-conference.
