A telephone conversation between the Presidents of Belarus and Ukraine took place today. Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated his Ukrainian counterpart on the successful political campaigns, wishing him success in the formation of the government and in his future work as a whole. Volodymir Zelensky once again confirmed the earlier invitation to the Belarusian head of state to visit Ukraine within the framework of the 2nd Forum of Regions of the two countries. In addition, the Ukrainian president spoke in detail about the situation in Donbass and thanked Aleksandr Lukashenko for organizing an effective negotiation platform and, in general, for the role Minsk plays in resolving the conflict. The Heads of State also discussed economic cooperation and trade between the two countries, success of the 2nd European Games in Minsk.
