Telephone conversation between presidents of Belarus and Lithuania

Lithuania initiated a telephone conversation between the Presidents of Belarus and Lithuania Alexander Lukashenko and Gitanas Nausėda. The leaders discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, paid special attention to economic relations. Vilnius raised the issue of increasing the increasing the supply of goods and cargos through the port of Klaipeda. The presidents discussed in detail the topic of diversification of oil and gas supplies. The parties agreed to instruct the energy ministers of the two countries to work out energy security issues. They also spoke about nuclear security. Alexander Lukashenko and Gitanas Nausėda also discussed countermeasures against the spread of coronavirus.
