Telephone conversation between A. Lukashenko and V. Putin

In the evening of 26 May Presidents of Belarus and Russia Aleksandr Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation. The heads of state discussed the main pressing issues on the bilateral Belarusian-Russian agenda, as well as the international situation. In addition, the President of Russia thanked his Belarusian counterpart for his assistance and help in organizing a thousand-for-thousand prisoner exchange process — a follow-up to the agreements reached in Istanbul.
