Talks between the presidents of Belarus and Russia took place in St. Petersburg

Mutual trade is growing; together with services, the figure has approached $45 billion. Union programs for import substitution and cooperation are being implemented. At a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko proposed an economic plan. Given the sanctions pressure, more than ever, allies must rely on mutual support. The agenda of the high-level talks also includes the international situation, the implementation of union programs, and joint resistance to sanctions pressure.
