Belarus intends to develop cooperation with Mongolia across a wide range of areas. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Belarus and Mongolia have long-standing friendly relations, despite the first visit at the highest level. This is a strong basis for the development of bilateral contacts. The presidents also held talks in an expanded format at the State Palace in the center of Ulaanbaatar. The emphasis is primarily on economics. Aleksandr Lukashenko suggested that Mongolia start with several projects and identify 3-4 key ones at the first stage. Their implementation will convince everyone that our countries can cooperate with mutual benefit. Belarus is open for contacts, the President emphasized. Aleksandr Lukashenko invited the head of Mongolia and Mongolian specialists to Belarus to see how our country is developing and decide on specific plans. As a result of the negotiations, the heads of state signed the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation.
