State visit of Belarus President to Mongolia completed
The goal was to restore relations that had previously always been friendly and even brotherly. The parties confirmed their readiness to develop cooperation in a variety of areas: industry, agriculture, trade, humanitarian sphere. The bilateral contracts amount to almost $20 million. This morning, the leaders of the two countries met informally at the Center of mongolian culture. Aleksandr Lukashenko got acquainted with the original traditions and customs of the people of Mongolia. On the territory of the center, the Presidents planted Siberian spruces. In honor of the distinguished guest from Belarus, the center has recreated the atmosphere of the Mongolian national festival Naadam, a national holiday in honor of the creation of the United Mongolian Empire, celebrated in July. It features vocal and choreographic performances mixed with traditional Mongolian sports. Aleksandr Lukashenko has gifted his colleague two tractors. In turn, the Belarusian leader received a pair of Mongolian horses.
