State economic policy principles to remain unchanged

Salaries, pensions, housing, healthcare were the key issues during Belarus President meeting with the government. The head of state and the leadership of the Council of Ministers discussed proposals of a number of departments, e.g. a draft decree on improving the efficiency of state enterprises, which will be facilitated by the exclusion of unfair forms of mediation from their activities. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that the state will carry out changes calmly and purposefully, rather than revolutionary. The principles of state economic policy will remain unchanged, its focus will still be people.
