Socially oriented policy – Belarus’ main guideline

The socially oriented policy that is adhered to in Belarus will remain the main guideline in any decision making. This is the main result of the meeting with the president. The leaders of the economic bloc, central and local authorities were invited to the Palace of Independence. The main task set by the head of state is to prevent a decline in people's living standards, to pay attention to wages, employment, and prices. Today the president called on the state apparatus to be more open, to explain to people the logic of their decision making. The election campaign gave an additional opportunity to study the requests and wishes of citizens. Officials were instructed to base their decisions on the people’s proposals.
