Situation in healthcare system discussed at Palace of Independence

From prices for medicines and purchases of equipment to new approaches to the development of the Belarusian medicine. The relevant minister presented a report on the situation in healthcare system to the Head of State at the Palace of Independence today. Artificial intelligence is planned to be applied by the purchases. An information platform created jointly with the High-technology park will show all purchases made by the medical institutions. The system will automatically inform about the facts of excess prices. The President supported the initiative. Import substitution will be achieved through increase of turnover of homemade medicines. Countrywide monitoring of prices for medicines will go on with the view of their possible reduction.
