Significant dates for the Orthodox Church discussed with the President

Aleksandr Lukashenko held a meeting with Metropolitan Veniamin. The topic of conversation was preparation and celebration of significant dates for the Orthodox Church. There are several dates in the calendar of 2025. These are the 555^th anniversary of the discovery of the miraculous Zhirovichi icon of the Mother of God, the 505^th anniversary of the Zhirovichi Monastery. And in early June it will be 900 years since the foundation of the Spaso-Euphrosynievsky Nunnery in Polotsk.
