Roman Golovchenko appointed as PM
Belarus President has appointed new government. Before signing the relevant decree, the head of state held a meeting. According to Aleksandr Lukashenko the new government should focus on intensive work to overcome modern challenges and threats. Roman Golovchenko has become a new Prime Minister of Belarus. Deputy heads of government have also been appointed as well as new heads in the State Control Committee, Ministries of finance, industry, construction, housing and communal services, information. The head of state has noted that a large number of new challenges require the utmost mobilization of the efforts of all state bodies, and especially the government. This is the strongest test of our resilience and ability to preserve the state.
