Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has been briefed on the progress of implementing the project to set up a high-tech full-cycle agricultural company. The head of state recalled that the decision to set up the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation pursued an ambitious goal to establish a company of tomorrow. The construction of the company was launched in Pukhovichi District in the summer of 2018. The president was also updated on the status of the project and training of personnel for this new industry. 80% of the produce will be sold on the domestic market and the markets of Russia, Ukraine, the European Union, and China. The new corporation fits Belarus’ export substitution policy.
