Cooperation with the African continent was the subject of a working meeting between the Head of State and Special Presidential Envoy Viktor Sheiman, who oversees cooperation in this area. They discussed partnership in healthcare, the supply of equipment, and the implementation of joint projects. The recent state visit of Alexander Lukashenko to Zimbabwe has become very effective in economic terms. Belarus is helping to ensure the country's food security by mechanizing farms. Deliveries of equipment worth over $66 million are planned over the next year and a half. The next stage is the development of healthcare. Alexander Lukashenko has always noted the prospect of working on the promising African continent. Belarus came there with sincere intentions to be friends and colleagues. The leader of Zimbabwe stressed that he believes in the future of bilateral cooperation and is grateful to the Belarusian President for his support.
