On 15 January, the President reviewed personnel matters. New appointments affected regions, ministries, and universities. Aleksandr Rogozhnik will assume the position of Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. He previously served as Belarus' Ambassador to Russia. Former Vitebsk Oblast Governor Aleksandr Subbotin has been relieved of his post due to a transfer to another position. Andrei Lobovich has been appointed Minister of Labor and Social Protection, and Kirill Masharsky has been appointed Director of the National Tourism Agency. The President also made a number of approvals within the local government.
