President urges trade unions to join price monitoring

The President of Belarus wants the facts of untimely payment of salaries to be rooted out mercilessly. Addressing the 8th Congress of the Federation of Trade Union of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko said that the issues of employment and salaries are the two most important issues for trade unions and always need the closest attention. Belarus president is also concerned about the growth of prices for a number of foods. He stressed that trade unions should protect the people and work together with the State Control Committee to resolve the problem. In total, more than 500 people from all regions of the country came to participate in the congress in Minsk.
