President receives report from Prosecutor General
06.02.2023
The President signed a decree on setting up a commission to work with those wishing to return to Belarus. The head of state mentioned this while receiving a report from Prosecutor General Andrei Shved. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. This primarily concerns those who violated the law in 2020 by participating in unsanctioned rallies, joining extremist groups, inciting hatred online, threatening reprisals and insulting people. The commission included people who were among the victims. The President supported this approach. Anyone who wants to return home simply has to be clean before the law. The President also announced a big meeting with law enforcers to discuss the tasks and problems, if they are urgent.
