President orders to sort things out in sports clubs

Matters of sports in general and the development of Belarusian football in particular were discussed at the Palace of Independence. The President heard out a report from Sport and Tourism Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, President of the National Olympic Committee, Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation. The president's assessment is critical: sporting achievements are negligible considering government investments. Aleksandr Lukashenko ordered to restore sort things out in sports clubs in the first quarter of 2024. The head of state was interested in the state of affairs not only in football, but also in other sports. He expects progress in sports and better results this year.
