President of Belarus participates in the BRICS summit

Aleksandr Lukashenko took part in the session of the 16th BRICS summit in the Outreach/Plus format in Kazan. In his speech, the head of state stated that the association had become a center of attraction in a short period of time by historical standards. More and more countries associate their ideas of a just world order with it. Belarus is ready to become an active participant of BRICS, the President noted. Aleksandr Lukashenko outlined the areas in which the country can play a significant role in the organization. These are security, sustainable development, food security, combating the consequences of climate change and education.
