President of Belarus meets with heads of International and European Associations of Athletics Federations

Belarus is ready for major international athletics competitions. Aleksandr Lukashenko, the head of the international association of athletics federations Sebastian Coe and the head of the European athletics federation Sven Arne Hansen, discussed the matter at the Palace of Independence today. The President expressed gratitude to the guests for their trust and the opportunity for our country to host such a major sports event. They also discussed the creation in Belarus of a regional center for athletics, which will allow world-class athletes to train in Belarus. Sven Arne Hansen announced the possibility of our countyr's hosting more international competitions.
