President of Belarus meets with governor of Kaliningrad region of Russia

Belarus offers Kaliningrad region to expand contacts in the industrial sphere and construction. This was voiced at a meeting between President Aleksandr Lukashenko and the governor of the Kaliningrad region. According to Anton Alikhanov, there is great interest in Belarusian building materials and specialists. Over the past year alone the region began to buy 50% more of Belarusian products. Over the last 9 months, the trade turnover between Belarus and the Russian region amounted to $260 million. However, strong friendship and historical ties allow to count on more.
