President of Belarus makes new personnel appointments

New personnel decisions were announced by the President. Aleksandr Lukashenko has appointed Vladimir Orlovsky chairman of the Customs Committee. This is a promotion for him from the position of the First Deputy in the department. Alexander Rumak has been appointed by the President Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs. In his purview is the coordination of work in the field of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations in the country. There are also some changes in regional government. Heads of districts in Vitebsk switched positions, and another new appointment was announced for the Minsk region. Personnel reshuffle affected the pool of deputies in the Ministries of Health, Labor and Social Security, and Economy.
