President of Belarus is on a working visit to Russia. The Belarusian head of state is expected to take part in the CIS Heads of State Council meeting in Moscow on 8 October. The agenda of the summit is rich. The leaders of the CIS member states are set to discuss issues related to security, high technology, and cooperation in trade, economy, culture and humanitarian affairs. The press service of the CIS Executive Committee reports that the heads of state will decide on the presidency of the Commonwealth in 2025. Also at the summit they plan to discuss and adopt an appeal to the peoples of the CIS countries and the world community in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic war. The leaders will sign decisions to declare the Commonwealth cultural capitals for the next three years. The program of Aleksandr Lukashenko's working visit also includes events within the framework of informal communication between the CIS leaders.
