President of Belarus and head of Russia Space Agency Roscosmos discussed implementation of joint projects

Alexander Lukashenko and head of Russia Space Agency Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin discussed implementation of joint projects in the space area. According to the President, Belarus and Russia have laid a good foundation to cooperation in the field. The joint agency for space research of the Academies of sciences of Belarus and Russia has been working for 5 years already. The Belarusian space remote Earth-probing system was created. It has already yielded $80 million of profit. The Head of state proposed to examine various avenues of bilateral cooperation, including in the context of national programs. At the meeting, head of Roscosmos presented a souvenir – a cosmonaut's glove – to A.Lukashenko.
