President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is on a working visit to the Russian Federation. Airplane number one landed in St. Petersburg. Immediately at the ramp, a conversation took place with the governor of the northern capital, Alexander Beglov. The program includes a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at Valaam Monastery (it has become a tradition for the leaders to communicate in places with a special atmosphere); as well as negotiations in various formats – discussion of current issues in the development of Belarusian-Russian relations, promotion of union projects, regional security topics, and international agenda.
