The capital's subway became 4 km longer today. Three new subway stations were opened in Minsk. The President gave a symbolic start to the movement of cars along the new route. "Slutsky Gostinets", "Nemorshansky Sad" and "Aerodromnaya" will be the continuation of the third green branch of the subway. This is a good New Year present for the residents of densely populated areas of Minsk, which will make the way home easier and more convenient for many Minsk citizens, Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced. The President of Belarus demanded to increase the pace of construction of new stations. The capital is actively developing and the need for such a convenient form of transportation is growing every year. There are plans to connect satellite cities with Minsk by the surface subway. About 90% of the equipment and materials used in the construction of the line are Belarusian-made. The line provides for solutions of a new technical level, high automation of control and monitoring processes. Intelligent systems of train traffic control, fare payment, fire safety, new means of transmission and processing of data on the operation of all subway systems have been introduced. Other aspects of the capital's development were also discussed today. The President demands strict control over the quality of housing construction. It is also instructed to develop a formula of fair pricing in Belarus. And by May 2025 to complete construction work in the Minsk International Exhibition Center.
