President meets with senior members of Council of Ministers
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko gathered the senior members of the Council of Ministers and governors to collectively discuss the legislative innovations. Such format of work has become traditional, positions on each document must be adjusted. The government suggests more flexibility for sale of assets by people from unfriendly states. The President inderlined that our economy needs to be protected from the lawlessness of the Western elite in the face of growing pressure. Measures to counter the withdrawal of capital from Belarus must be implemented at lightning speed. The response to sanctions must be fully operational. Participants to the meeting discussed the adjustment of customs legislation. This means uniform approaches, but the interests of the state must not be infringed. The agenda also includes providing state support to two construction organizations in Brest and Grodno regions. The issue of financing the Earth probing spacecraft was also discussed in detail. The project is not only about national security. It is a promising area of scientific cooperation that will allow developing the competencies of both the Belarusian and Russian sides.
