President meets with Omsk Region governor
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko sees enough reserves to increase trade turnover with the Omsk region of Russia. The Head of State stated this at a meeting with the Omsk region governor Vitaly Khotsenko. Omsk region is one of the most developed territories of Siberia, a powerful industrial center. It intends to develop its economic potential together with Belarusian partners. Last year, Belarus placed fourth among foreign trade partners of the russian region. During the meeting, Aleksandr Lukashenko said that he kept in touch with Vladimir Putin during 24 hours after the terrorist attack in Russia. Omsk region governor confirmed his commitment to full cooperation. The sides plan to open a multi-brand center for Belarusian technology, as well as Belarus' trading house.
