President inspects harvesting campaign progress
Harvesting campaign tactics viewed as dependent on weather conditions. Today, the President inspected the situation in the fields during his working trip to Minsk district. At the Voskhod farm Aleksandr Lukashenko first of all inspected the rapeseed field. This year's peculiarity is that many crops matured at the same time. Therefore, the task is to determine what to focus at first in order to prevent losses. Also after the extreme weather events there are many areas with laid grain. They should be harvested before completely lost. One should make prompt decisions taking into account these circumstances, the President instructed. Then Aleksandr Lukashenko changed the route of the trip and visited to the threshing floor, the machine yard, and the dairy complex. The head of state was also reported on the farm’s performance in general. The President was not completely satisfied with what he saw in the district from the helicopter, especially the areas near large industrial clusters. The airborne inspection continued after the visit to the farm.
