President holds a number of international meetings

Today is the main day of Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Uzbekistan. The day before, world leaders from 14 states arrived in Samarkand.
President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, is taking part in the summit. Belarus intends to become a full-fledged member of the SCO. So far, Minsk has observer status. Many world leaders express their full support for Belarus intention to join the organisation. On the eve of the SCO Summit, Aleksandr Lukashenko held a series of international meetings. Emphasis was placed on the bilateral agenda and development of cooperation in the key areas. The meeting between the leaders of Belarus and China became truly historic for the two countries.
