President confers state awards upon culture workers

President A. Lukashenko has bestowed state awards upon culture workers. The ceremony took place at the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre on the Independence Day, July 3. The head of state presented the Order of F. Skaryna to honored worker of culture of the BSSR G. Kachalova. The Medal of F. Skaryna has been conferred upon vocalist E. Yermakov, leading stage artist of the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater; V. Mochalina, choir artist of the G.I. Tsitovich National Academic Folk Choir of Belarus; M. Skromblevich, folk crafts artiste at the Odel Center of Culture and Folk Art; and Y. Frankov, leading stage artist of the Belarusian Lialka Theater. During the ceremony, the President also presented badges to those who were awarded honorary titles.
