On 10 March, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 103 approving the draft agreement between Belarus and Russia on measures to mutually protect citizens from unjustified prosecution by foreign states and international justice bodies. The subject of this international treaty is the protection of citizens, including current or former officials, from unjustified prosecution by third parties, taking into account the trend towards politicisation of international judicial bodies and other international criminal justice mechanisms.
