President appoints Pavel Muraveiko Chief of General Staff

Major General Pavel Muraveiko has been appointed Chief of the General Staff, First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus.
The decision was made by the President. Until now Pavel Muraveiko served as First Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council. Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized the need for further development of the Armed Forces taking into account the lessons learned from the military actions in Ukraine.
