President Aleksandr Lukashenko paying working visit to Russia
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko is paying a working visit to Russia. The program of the visit includes enhancing cooperation with Irkutsk Region. On June 5, the President met with Governor of Russia's Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev. The head of the Belarusian state was greeted with bread and salt and folk songs at the government building of the Siberian region. During the negociations, the parties discussed joint projects, plans and further development of cooperation. The President also visited the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The head of state got acquainted with the stages of production of military aircraft and assembly of the MS-21 passenger airliner. By the way, the plant also makes airplanes for the Belarusian Air Force. The management of the enterprise informed the President of Belarus in detail about its products and promising developments. Aleksandr Lukashenko also fulfilled one of his longtime dreams, he visited the unique Lake Baikal.
