Aleksandr Lukashenko addressed the participants of the international conference on counter-terrorism in Minsk. The Belarusian leader emphasized that today it is impossible to deal with this problem alone. The President put forward an initiative to set up “a belt of digital neighborliness.” In his words, this can be done with the help of interstate and other agreements on information security. The ideas of digital sovereignty and neutrality which will guarantee noninterference of countries in the information spaces of each other could be the key elements of such agreements.
