Overcoming the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster was discussed with the President

Today marks 36 years since the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Alexander Lukashenko heard a report on the implementation of instructions to overcome the consequences of the disaster. Currently, Belarus is implementing the sixth state program to overcome the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant until 2025. The total amount of funding is almost 3 billion BYN. Since 1990, over $19 billion has been allocated for the implementation of the previous five programs. The president stressed that time has shown the correctness of the decisions on the development of the regions affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
