New stage of cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan

Belarus and Azerbaijan agreed to launch a new stage of economic cooperation. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko stated this following the negotiations with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The parties also signed a number of documents on cooperation in tourism, energy and the oil industry. The Belarusian side sees great potential for cooperation in industry, agriculture, woodworking, information technology, and healthcare. During the talks, the strategic nature of relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan was confirmed as well as absence of problems or differences of opinion on international affairs. Aleksandr Lukashenko invited Ilham Aliyev to visit Belarus.
