Negotiations between the Presidents of Belarus and Russia

The President of Belarus held talks with the President of Russia. The heads of state regularly hold meetings on key issues of Belarusian-Russian cooperation, as well as on the international agenda. The leaders recently met in Samarkand, but agreed, taking into account the importance of bilateral relations, to talk face to face. The West does not stop the sanctions pressure on Minsk and Moscow. Against this difficult external background, Belarus and Russia have stepped up their joint work on import substitution. Relevant instructions were given to the government. The heads of state also discussed topical aspects of the Union State work. Minsk and Moscow are moving synchronously along the integration track.
