Minsk, Tashkent to expand cooperation roadmap
The day before, the Presidents of Belarus and Uzbekistan signed a package of documents following negotiations in narrow and extended formats. Minsk and Tashkent are significantly expanding the roadmap of cooperation, increasing trade turnover and implementing joint projects in agriculture, industry, ecology, and education. An industrial complex for the production of Belarusian equipment is to be launched in this Central Asian republic. The bilateral cooperation includes a wide range of areas, from dairy production to IT programs. After planting trees in the Alley of Distinguished Guests, Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition in Minsk. The Belarusian head of state encouraged Uzbek businesses to expand operations in Belarus.
