Military and political situation discussed at Palace of Independence

Issues of military and political character were discussed today at the Palace of Independence. Heads of the National Security Council, Defense ministry, State Security committee, Main intelligence department were invited to report to the Head of State. The meeting was held on the eve of the session of the Collective security council of the CSTO which will be held in Minsk on November, 23. This year, Belarus chairs in the CSTO. Members of the Collective security council will discuss urgent problems of the international and regional security, determine tasks for the future, as well as adopt several documents aimed at ensuring collective security interests.
