Meeting with Chair of the Central Bank of Russia

Work in the conditions of sanctions, interaction in banking and financial sectors in the Union State. The President of Belarus discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation with Chair of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina. The banking systems of the two countries, despite the sanctions pressure, have shown and continue to demonstrate stability. A number of protective measures are being taken promptly. Mutual settlements are translated into national currencies. But despite the talk about a single currency in the Union State, Alexander Lukashenko called this process a "not today" issue.
