Meeting on military security matters
A meeting on military security chaired by the President took place at the Strategic Control Center of the Ministry of Defense. Military issues are given close attention at this difficult time. Unprecedented pressure is being exerted on Belarus. All methods of hybrid warfare are employed. Every day, there's a surge of negative news and fakes in the media and on the Internet. The situation on the border with our western neighbors is far from simple. There is an open militarization of the region, and Belarus responds adequately to all signals. Minsk sees a heightened military presence at the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, although there is no reason for it. As well as the fact that the West uses refugees as a way to contain our army in the event of a conflict with Russia. Meanwhile, even in these difficult conditions, Minsk stands for a constructive international dialogue. Belarus does not want an armed conflict. However, we always keep the powder dry. Therefore, the meeting touched upon the results of military exercise and the development of our armed forces in the future. The central task of the military is not to succumb to provocations and to be always ready to give an adequate response to any aggression.
